Farewell, #shibuyarblunch

#shibuyarblunch のサイトをアーカイブ化しました。Lokka (CMS) で運営されていましたが、現在は静的サイトとして配信しており、今後は更新されない予定です。

2020/11/10 更新: heroku の bamboo stack (!) を使っていて動かなくなっていた && ドメインも変わってリンク切れになっていたのでアプリを作り直しました。

大江戸Ruby会議01 で僕と @1syo さんが意気投合し始まった #shibuyarblunch でしたが、発起人の二人が渋谷を離れてしまったことや、途中から運営を取り仕切ってくださった @tyabe さんの主催する渋谷.rbが「渋谷近郊のRubyistのための地域Rubyistコミュニティ」という役割を担うようになった等の事情により、定期的な活動が途絶えていました。

大量のスパムコメントが投稿されているなど好ましい状態では無かったため（僕がメンテナンスを怠っていたせいです）閉鎖することも考えたのですが、ランチに参加してくださった皆さんからのコメントを消したくなかったので、静的サイトという形で残すことにしました。

あらゆる形で #shibuyarblunch に関わってくれたすべての皆さんに感謝します。ありがとうございました。またどこかのRubyistコミュニティでお会いしましょう。

TOEIC test

Today I had a TOEIC test. It was first time for me. Before the test, I thought that probably I will score about 600 points. After the test, my feeling was nearly same as I expected.

 

This is purpose for to know my true English skill. I felt that listening was a little  easy than I assumed. I couldn't finished last question because I ran out all of time. I learned that time management is important.

 

I'm going to try TOEIC in this year at least one more time to check the results of my usual English study.

 

Update at Feb 3: score: listening 320 reading 400 total 720.

12 Days of Gifts

I enjoyed Apple's "12 Days of Gifts" in this season. The last day gift is "Sweet Summer Sun, Live in Hyde Park 2013 (Live) - Single" by The Rolling Stones. While I didn't attend this event, I stayed in London at that day and I saw a poster of that live at Hyde Park! It's one of a good memory of trip to London.

Haskell Koans

I found Haskell Koans on GitHub. It was really good practice for me. I did it, but I couldn't solve Parser Combinator practice. I guess I'm stuck at basic list operation stuff. I tried many times, but failed after all (I couldn't satisfy return type "Parser String"). If you know the answer, please let me know.

Update: I solved "sequence of digits parser" practice by P.many' P.anyChar but still struggle symbol parser.

Happy new year 2014

This is the best timing to start anything. I've started to use Lift.do, an iPhone app to acquire good habit. While I have only one goal, "to take medicine" yet, I'm looking forward to tap new icon on my home screen.
