インド系っぽいと思ってた男性トレーナーと。木曜午前の週次ミーティングでインド人っぽい人がいるので前日にアクセントが似てそうな人のレッスンを受けよう！と意気込んで予約したが明日は通院日で休暇を取ったので関係なかった。しかもレッスン中の話の流れでそれとなくお国を聞いたらフィリピンだった。この人はスモールトークで長話をしないタイプで、二言三言交わすとすぐレッスンに入るので、その分レッスン中にアウトプットすることに留意しようと思って普段以上に意見を長くたくさんいうことを心がけた。
レッスンの最後に、Enunciation てわかる？それに気をつけて喋るといいよ、とアドバイスされた。初めてみた単語だけど、
発音はpronunciation よりもenunciationが大切
ということらしい。トレーナーは Stressing every syllable in a word のことだと言って（書いて）いた。要するに、単語全体をもっとはっきり発音するようにしましょう、ということで理解あってるだろうか。言葉だけでなく概念も初めて触れるもので、いいアドバイスをもらえた。レッスン中に「質問ある？」と聞かれて何度か例文中の単語の発音を確認したので、それを受けてのアドバイスだったのだろう。

要は遠回しに「聞き取りづらい」と言われてたってことなのかな・・レッスンのテーマに微妙に被せてる感じがまた。

- It may confuse the speaker if we interrupt on the wrong timing. / 不快な思いをさせる、というニュアンスを伝えたかったけど。こういうとき confuse を使うのはまだちょっと意外な気がして慣れない（混乱、と覚えているから。混乱は中立的であまりネガティブでない言葉な印象）

- advertising medium - place where you put your advertisment / 質問は？に対して、そういえば medium って辞書で調べて広告媒体という意味だと一応知ったが改めて聞いてみようと思って聞いた。その後、「あ、もしかして https://medium.com/ が Medium という名前な由来ってこれのこと？」という発見？があった。
