ミスター早口と。Happy new year のあとは普通に今日はどうだった？という話。あと年末年始の休暇中はどうだった？と。五日ともなると新年気分が抜けてくるのか、新年の抱負は？みたいな話にはならず。彼の性格もあるのか。
Lesson 4 の趣旨はよくわかる。そして英語でも、過去にそれなりに苦労して伝えたりしたことはあったと思う。というか、英語に限らず、管理職をやってた頃は毎日ずっと「この件はどう説明すれば良いか？」ということばかり考えていた。なので英語で言う際のボキャブラリーなどの問題はありつつも、考え方や論旨の組み立て方は苦労しなかった。
Try まで終わって続きは Act から。Try をやってる最中に残り時間を見つつ、残り 2,3 分くらいだったので、Act のロールプレイが忙しくなりそう、かつ Try で喋ってた内容的にロールプレイを手短にまとめられないと思ったので、Try 終わった後に補足したいことを続けて喋って時間を潰して、Act を次回送りにするように調整した。焦ると大体呂律が回らなくなったり頭が真っ白になったりして余計に時間がかかるので、それだとトレーナーに時間超過し過ぎて迷惑をかけるので。レッスン中にそういうことを考えながら喋り続けられるようになったのは進歩だと思う。
そして明日もミスター早口を予約した。ので続きはスムーズにやれる、はず。
